ST Bridge

Bridge connects this computer to your ST Studio installations. It carries work
and original files directly between your computers. Relay is disabled.

1. Verify the download's SHA-256 against the distribution receipt.
2. Extract this complete package. Keep the license notices with the program.
3. Windows: powershell.exe -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\install.ps1
   Linux: sh ./install.sh
4. Windows (PowerShell): & "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\SweetTeaBridge\st-bridge.exe" connect --label "My computer"
Linux: "$HOME/.local/bin/st-bridge" connect --label "My computer"
Open the displayed page and confirm the matching machine code.
5. Leave it running. Your machine appears in Studio's Bridge connections.
Bridge attaches to your existing ComfyUI on port 8188 when it is ready.
For another port, add --comfy-port PORT to connect. To run in the background,
stop connect after pairing and start the registered ST Bridge user service.

Bridge has its own control surface, independent of Studio:
- Windows: open ST Bridge in the Start menu. The local browser window shows
machine identity, attached Studios, team/pool, jobs, runtime actions and backups.
- Linux: st-bridge status --watch gives a live terminal view; --json is available
for scripts. st-bridge ui opens the same local window where a browser exists.
- Pause new admissions, resume, cancel one job, refresh inventory, or request an
idle runtime restart/switch from the window. Closing it does not stop Bridge.
- CLI controls use: st-bridge control --action pause (or resume, scan, restart).
To cancel, use --action cancel --id EXACT_JOB_UUID.
- An offline service reports that it must be started; the UI does not replace
the installed user service or launch a second execution engine.

Unattended backup is opt-in. Install a separately issued, expiring S3 credential
scoped to one project's bucket/prefix, without object-delete permission, using
this host's grant-file control or `st-bridge backup-grant` with JSON on stdin.
Never paste credentials into command arguments. Ordinary Studio storage secrets
are not copied to Bridge. Missing/expired access stays pending; original files
are retained. Revoke the grant from the local window to stop future requests.
See docs/TEAM_BRIDGE_OPERATIONS.md in the private source for the grant contract.

Use the terminal or notebook provided by any compatible ComfyUI image. SSH and
the Sweet Tea image are not required. Bridge keeps the existing ComfyUI install,
nodes and models. The default account is https://sweettea.co; --account overrides
it for an explicitly selected development environment.

The installer works per user and preserves machine identity, pairing and work.
It registers a user service where the operating system supports one; it does not
change SSH keys, firewall rules, login configuration or unrelated services.
In a container without a user service manager, use the provided image startup
integration or keep serve-configured supervised by your existing container.

Default listening is loopback only. Direct private-network connections use the
configured ICE/STUN policy (Cloudflare's public STUN by default). Full SSH is
an optional Studio-assisted installation and connection route.
Networks with no direct route report that limitation; no files pass through a
cloud relay. Configure a deliberate direct TCP address only when needed.

Upgrade by stopping the ST Bridge service, running the newer verified installer,
and starting it again. Existing state is not removed. Uninstall the user service
and installed program to remove Bridge; deleting the separate state directory
is a separate decision that also removes saved pairing and remote originals.

The published distribution manifest records this package's exact build and
platform signing status. Use the host packages offered by your Studio release;
an additional cross-compiled package is not evidence of native qualification.
Tea Time Labs retains ownership of Bridge. Third-party license texts are in
licenses/. No ComfyUI implementation or private Bridge source is included.
